1.5 - Improving stability

We are approching the migration and some functionalities of 2.0 pops up in this 1.5 version.

It is the last turbulences zone before final stability.

1.4.15 - Time & Unix timestamps

New functionnality : Time

  • You can now integrate Time formats : DateTime, Time
  • You can specify an Unix timestamp format for date, datetime, time.

1.4.14 - Say it in Ajax

Ajax feature Cook Self Service JoomlaA little bit of Ajax has been introduced in Cook Self Service.


The idea is to be able to avoid loading of huge lists to optimize performances and ergonomy.


You can use this feature for any foreign key dropdown lists. (forms and filters)

After a very long developpement, you can now enjoy a new MVC structure and the authoring functionality.

When the final user submit a content, the created content is linked to the user. This allow a lot of possibilities with ne ACLs.
  • User can edit it's own content
  • User can view only it's content, even if it is not published (combine with 'publish' wizard)
  • User can delete it's own content
