Hi there

i have a form with lots of fields

about 50% of them relate to one subject matter and 50% another. In a previous version of the component i had the fields in 2 columns and the end user wants it like that still

how with j cook could i do that - is it possible without hacking ? or with minimal hacking ?

(ie for example instead of calling : $fieldSet = $this->form->getFieldset('resourceitem.form'); would it be possible to get a subset of the fields as oppose to all of them )

many thanks for suggestions
tnx

In the Config tab select the 'Exploded' form style and all the fields will be separated so you will be able to arrange them any way (with a little coding).

Thanks Twev

But wait, I am gonna fix it.

If you should Exploded, then it is not the best because if you want to ad fields, then you need to change 2 files (template file, because exploded)
If you do not need exploded, don't use it.
Coding is now a piece of cake
